I've spent more than 25 years leading government affairs, public policy, and political campaigns for companies and mission-driven organizations operating in complex political and regulatory environments. I've been trusted by corporate and nonprofit leaders across 37 states and on Capitol Hill to navigate hard problems, manage risk, and deliver results when the stakes are high.
I'm a strategist and an operator, but above all, I'm focused on execution. My background includes campaign management, building government affairs teams, and leading multi-state advocacy efforts that move legislative outcomes. Before founding Capitol Pathway Advisors, I served as a chief of staff in a legislative leadership office and as a state-level lobbyist, giving me firsthand understanding of how policy decisions are made and influence is earned.
At this point in my career, I'm selective about the clients and missions I take on. I work only with organizations I believe in, which allows me to show up as a true partner, not a transactional consultant. I live on the South Carolina coast with my husband and our two rescue dogs.
Jennifer Briemann
Co-Founder
I've spent more than 25 years in the trenches of government, policy, and advocacy, working with some of the largest and most influential organizations in the country to turn ideas into law and momentum into real change. I've represented national-scale nonprofits, major industry leaders, and Fortune-level companies before Congress and state legislatures on issues where the stakes were high and the politics were anything but easy.
Much of my career has been built around trust and responsibility. I've managed multi-million-dollar advocacy budgets, led nationwide policy strategies, and worked closely with elected officials, donors, and board members on issues requiring discretion and follow-through. A core part of my work is helping organizations be understood—shaping public narratives through television, op-eds, and earned media, and translating complex policy into clear, persuasive messaging.
I'm known for being steady under pressure, detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture, and deeply committed to the missions I represent. Outside of work, I love fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay with my family and shooting sporting clays on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
