The best results come from genuine partnership. We are selective about the organizations we serve because that selectivity allows us to fully invest in each engagement. When we commit, we commit completely.
Regardless of the service, our approach remains constant. We immerse ourselves in your organization, your objectives, and the political realities you face. We operate with the same accountability as in-house leadership, and we measure our success by yours.
You're not hiring a vendor; you're gaining a partner. We don't advise from a distance or deliver generic recommendations. We embed, take ownership, and operate with the same accountability as in-house leadership.
If we're in, we're all in. We are selective by design. That selectivity ensures alignment and trust – and it means when we commit, we commit fully.
We don't rely on playbooks or cookie-cutter solutions. Every client faces a unique set of constraints and opportunities. Our work is customized, grounded in reality, and curated to fit your needs.
We measure our success by yours. We operate with professionalism, confidentiality, and a long-term partnership mindset. We are built for high-trust, lasting relationships, not short-term engagements.
I've spent more than 25 years leading government affairs, public policy, and political campaigns for companies and mission-driven organizations operating in complex political and regulatory environments. I've been trusted by corporate and nonprofit leaders across 37 states and on Capitol Hill to navigate hard problems, manage risk, and deliver results when the stakes are high.
I'm a strategist and an operator, but above all, I'm focused on execution. My background includes campaign management, building government affairs teams, and leading multi-state advocacy efforts that move legislative outcomes. Before founding Capitol Pathway Advisors, I served as a chief of staff in a legislative leadership office and as a state-level lobbyist, giving me firsthand understanding of how policy decisions are made and influence is earned.
At this point in my career, I'm selective about the clients and missions I take on. I work only with organizations I believe in, which allows me to show up as a true partner, not a transactional consultant. I live on the South Carolina coast with my husband and our two rescue dogs.
I've spent more than 25 years in the trenches of government, policy, and advocacy, working with some of the largest and most influential organizations in the country to turn ideas into law and momentum into real change. I've represented national-scale nonprofits, major industry leaders, and Fortune-level companies before Congress and state legislatures on issues where the stakes were high and the politics were anything but easy.
Much of my career has been built around trust and responsibility. I've managed multi-million-dollar advocacy budgets, led nationwide policy strategies, and worked closely with elected officials, donors, and board members on issues requiring discretion and follow-through. A core part of my work is helping organizations be understood—shaping public narratives through television, op-eds, and earned media, and translating complex policy into clear, persuasive messaging.
I'm known for being steady under pressure, detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture, and deeply committed to the missions I represent. Outside of work, I love fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay with my family and shooting sporting clays on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
